If your Ledger Nano S Bitcoin application doesn’t launch from Chrome, follow these steps:
First shut down all other Chrome extensions
disable the “browser support” setting in the Bitcoin application of your device:
open the Bitcoin application on the device.
scroll with the right button to find the “settings”.
press both buttons to open “settings”.
scroll with the right button to find the “browser support”.
press both buttons to open it.
select NO by pressing both buttons to disable the browser support.
This setting must be off to let your Chrome application, Electrum or Mycelium recognize your device.
This setting must be on when you want to use your device with another application like Copay or GreenAddress.
If it still doesn’t work, you can try to:
uninstall and reinstall the Bitcoin Chrome app.
uninstall and reinstall your Bitcoin app on your Nano S.
Also you can try to use another USB cable or another USB port, or just try another computer.
